It would seem that these days in France they have an institution that goes by the enlightened name of The Ministry of Immigration and National Identity. Am I the only one who thinks this rather crass?
there are fascist political parties that compete for even the highest offices in france. the anti-middle eastern immigrant sentiment is pretty mainstream.
it's often difficult to tell from afar if the left is on the ascendancy in France (as it sometimes seems when people are rioting and what-not), or if it is the right (as it seems when that lil guy got elected...name escapes me now)
today, it seems like the right is disgustingly comfortable...how do they get away with such blatant Nazism?
